Everyone who uses facebook knows how some ads can be annoying when working on Facebook, especially popup ads that have nothing to do with you, your niche, or your relationships.

There are some of them that are offensive and there's no way to block them with an application within facebook. Even if you report ads that come up on your profile - they still come up. Jason Ward did some research and was able to find a reliable way to kill most if not all the ads within face book - and any other site when you browse on your computer.

11. Close Firefox, then open it and go to Facebook - Adblock Plus should block all Facebook ads
12. Also if you find an ad, just right click and ADBLOCK and it should disappear

A web site is hosted on at least one web server, accessible via a network such as the Internet or a private Local Area Network”

In summary, consumers learn more from blogs than from a website. Blogs create a way to interact with you and the reader. Blogs give you and your reader a connection, a relationship, and eventually trust. Blog gives fresh content, value, and information. If a blog is done RIGHT, it will bring you more visibility.
Most internet marketers struggle with traffic. Marketing your blog in the right channels, RSS Feed, Feedburner.com, RSS Feed and Blog Directories to name a few will bring traffic to you and you become admired and attracted. Blogs can bring SEO benefits also, because Google likes fresh content, Blogs creates a way for you to interact with your reader. · Blogger, which is owned and controlled by Google, The upside of Blogger is that you can open up an account and start blogging within minutes. There is no cost. I think in any skill that you are trying to achieve, you need to learn it. I believe by using blogger is a good start for writing and getting ideas from other bloggers. Remember, you can put other people’s content in your blog as long as you state it is theirs. It is great tool to use to start writing posts rather than not writing at all. Not everyone likes to write. The downside is Google owns it, controls it, you can’t have a domain name and Google can shut you down, anytime, if they think you are too “salesy” or do not like your content.

· Typepad is a hosted platform (you have to pay a monthly fee) It is the most popular; but, they are constrained to their templates and their rules. The upside is they offer more plug- ins and templates than Blogger.com. The downside is a monthly fee, of about $10.00 for pro version; Basic Typepad is free but only allows a certain amount of posts, 3 to be exact. But if you go Pro-version, posting is unlimited. There are three types of typepad, basic, plain, and pro. . · Wordpress.org. This is a self-hosted platform. Most professional networkers use this type of blog platform. There are no drawbacks from wordpress. org. It is yours. No one can take it away from you. The only drawbacks are the technical skills necessary for a wordpress blog. It does take time, but if you focus, you can set it up. You can save yourself money and time by hiring someone for $20.00 to download and install a template/theme for you. (But the key to marketing is “the HOW TO” ) You need to learn how to do a wordpress blog. It’s crucial. I can guarantee you that when you have it set up and you learn a different skill and another, you will eventually want to change your wordpress theme or add another one. So, I personally suggest that you spend the time, and learn how to make a wordpress blog platform. After it is set up, it is as easy as blogger to post and edit etc….One great thing about Wordpress is that the endless amount of plug-ins you can put in. So become blog savvy!! There is also another blog platform called Wordpress.com and it is free. You can learn and gain more value for your prospects or you hire someone and they will do the work for you. Personally, save money and do it yourself.
A network marketer is someone who gives value and directs others in the RIGHT direction. Don’t lose sight of what we should be doing. We should be helping other network marketers. My point is network marketers need to establish a relationship. FOCUS, FOCUS and LEARN HOW TO MAKE A WORDPRESS BLOG PLATFORM.

If you use a good host, they should have an auto install version of Wordpress. (Go Daddy) Click, click, bang. It’s set up. Play with a theme. Spend too much time looking on line for a theme. Download, install. Play with plug ins. Download, install. Write a few posts. Create a few pages. Change the layout a bit. Call it 8 hours total, from start to having your own blog on line, working, with your own theme and content. You have added the plug-ins that you wanted, the theme that you wanted, the layout, the content, and the menu. All of it is exactly what you want.
The cost is your time because you have SO MANY options. If you can be satisfied with what comes out of the box, then a Wordpress site can be set up in 20 minutes.

Compare that to a different free or self hosted platform. Set up is quick and easy. Pick a theme because there are only 20. Write a post. Change the layout? No. Can’t do that. Put the menu on the other side? No. Can’t do that. You want to post video? No. Can’t do that either. Podcast? Special functionality? Nope. None of that. If you don’t use Wordpress.org, your blog will not look quite like you want it to and it will not have the right functionality. It will be harder to use and take longer to post and promote.

There are three things that you must have in your Facebook profile, if you want to be effective.

1. “A Picture says a thousand words”. Your profile picture should look warm, welcoming, and professional. The picture should portray who you are. You are branding yourself. As you are aware, I have a picture of myself and my daughter. I am a nurse and through my love, dedication, compassion and skillset, I am proud to have her in my professional picture. I am The Nurse Network marketer. Your picture should portray who you are. (Important Note: the picture you use should be the same picture you use on every marketing platform, website or blog: it will give you more visibility on the internet. The more people who see the same picture of you, the more exposure you give yourself. Your goal is to put in their heads “Wow, who is this person??? I see her/his picture everywhere. He or she must be a leader/expert in this industry”. You should be inside the heads of your fellow network marketers and potential prospects. I would like to add that it shouldn’t be a picture of your pet, a flower or your family. You can put those pictures in your photos tab, but be cautious of what you put there. Remember, it is your business, and you want to present yourself as an expert. You want your consumers to do business with you. Your picture should be a headshot with a smile. You do not want a picture of you in the distance or blurred. A picture with half of your face is ok. It is just stating you are different. Please, please do not leave your picture empty. That is definitely a BIG NO, NO! It’s a turnoff. Personally, I do not except friends without a picture. **If you are going to be on FB, remember people are going to see your pictures, view your videos, read your posts, comments, blogs, and articles. People are going to read things about you. Be yourself. There has to be a uniqueness, welcoming and professional picture. I have seen many pictures of professional marketers and you don’t need to go out and spend a lot of money on a professional picture. All you need is yourself, a wall, a camera and a friend or family member to take a picture of you. I know a lot of marketers who have great pictures, who didn’t spend a dime on their picture and their profile picture looks professional. “Let people see who you are”



1. Make sure the Box underneath your picture is filled out and your URL link is there. Make sure your link is visible, so they can click on it easily. You don’t want them to have to look for your link in order to click on it. Most marketers don’t put their link in the box and I don’t know why. People will click on a FREE e-book, newsletter, report or kit, if it is right in front of them. Remember Value first, Business second.



1. Make sure everything in your Info Tab is COMPLETELY filled in and filled out. **It is a good idea that every platform that you use, your profile is COMPLETELY filled out, before you start marketing.

Update your status every day. Put in a sentence of what you are doing. People are looking at you as a business expert, so write like one. Do not tell them about the weather or what you bought at the mall or what you’re having for dinner. Your content must be of value or something from your industry/niche. Add content regarding personal development (Personal development is a must). When your mastermind group gives value, share it.

Don’t spend a lot of time on applications such as Email, Notifications, Friend requests. People spend way too much time on these applications. Personally, I answer my emails or delete emails that are irrelevant. I approve all friend requests. If I get spammers, I delete them. I delete all other applications because I don’t have the time for “mafia wars” or “Farmville”. Remember your purpose on Facebook, is Relationship marketing; “Marketing your Business.”Give Value and remember time management.

If your new friends send you an email, then send them back a friendly message and write it on their wall. IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO WRITE ON THEIR WALL AND MAKE IT PERSONAL. i.e.” “Thanks for the add, since we are in the same industry, tell me something about yourself or your business. Let’s make sure we stay in touch.” Then offer them a free e-book or newsletter. “Seeing we are in same industry, I hope I can help you with your business by sharing value.” These are just a few different things you can say. Click on their picture and read their profile, it will give you ideas on what to say, Most importantly, give value and be yourself. Don’t give them “information overload” in one conversation. This is how you start interacting with your target market.

Today’s marketing is Relationship Marketing so be interactive, write on their wall, comment when they comment on you and offer Free Value and establish relationships. See what kind of struggles, questions, concerns, frustrations they may having, and give them solutions, but be subtle; don't ask until they have connected with you.

I was reading an article by "the feel good club today" and this little piece stuck out, because it is so true.

When you feel good ( training yourself to feel good constantly ) you are much more connected with nature, the Earth, your Higher Power (or God, Spirit, Life Force) . You are more intuitive, you are connected to your own good or your own higher path or best course.You are more motivated, purposeful: you have clarity. When you are feeling good constantly, your body is releasing endorphins,( which are natural hormones that your body makes so you will feel good, endorphins, such as dopamine and seratonin). Your Immunity is strenghtened, and makies you grow not feel, but grow younger. Your body functions move towards homeostasis or perfect health. You will also grow wealthier because you feel prosperous and do the right things. Your intuition will lead you to the best course of action for you. Because you feel so good, you love life and yourself more and will attract good healthy relationships to you.

I cannot emphasize how important personal development is for our lives. I feel that once you incorporate everything and every situation with a positive attitude through training yourself to feel good constantly, you will change within. Good things will happen to you.

When change or adversity arrives and it will, your attitude will be different; and I say this in a positive way because it is like you can handle situations better. When something traumatic happens in your life, you have a different attitude, you may be sad, you may feel helpless, but you will handle it. I know for myself, that being positive, my behavior and attitude is different. I am a better person today than yesterday and its gets better and better everyday. You will see a change in your behavior also, you will align with the universe. The law of attraction will flow with you and you will attract positive people and good things will be drawn to you. Positive and good things will happen in your life and your business. I have become a better person because I look at everything in the positive.

So I choose positive thinking and ignore any negativity. I will not give negative thoughts any power whatsoever. You are aware of negative thoughts, but choose not to acknowledge them. Dominate your mind with positive thinking, You may ask how I do it. Well if you have read anything on the subconscious mind, you will learn that you can dominate all those negative thoughts, that get planted or deep rooted in your mind. You need to want to change your thoughts and behaviors. Discipline your mind.

When you discipline your mindset and change your behavior to good. Life is much easier to handle especially when change, adversity and the unexpected happens.

Everything in the universe is composed of energy. Let me make it simple to understand by who and what we are. Everyone has a body, your body is made up of organs, Organs are made up of tissues. Tissues are made of of cells. Cells are made of molecules. Molecules are made up of atoms. Atoms are made of even smaller "components" aka "units of matter" called electrons, protons, and neutrons. These smaller components are made of energy. Summing up we are made of energy.

As I stated before everything in the universe is composed of energy. So as this energy is emitting its frequency (vibrations), there are other energies that are on the same frequency(vibrations) and they tend to draw towards one another.

You will attract to what YOU are "like," in other words. If you're motivated people, you'll attract motivated people. And if you're passive you'll attract passive. etc....

If you feel and have a struggling or "broke" mindset you'll attract and get countless spam from other marketers, because the will see you as a potential prospect. And if you feel prosperous, you will attract situations to help you to be prosperous.

Have you ever been on a call or talk with someone and you feel ackward or uncomfortable. It is because you are not on the same frequency. A marketing example, have you ever felt nervous, ackward talking to your upline or an expert, because you are an amateur. This is because you are not on the same frequency.

Attraction Marketing has the same concept. Whatever interest, content, value, character, and quality, you display is what will be is attracted to you. If you want to draw high quality friendships, prospects, customers, etc. then produce a high quality, value, and uniqueness. Produce a quality YOU.

Refine your skills so you can establish yourself as being unique to those around you and this will set you apart from the rest. Your credibility will increase.

Do you have the characteristics to be a Good Leader?

I read an excellent article this morning written by Michael Dlouhy, author of Success in 10 Steps. This article gives great value about the characteristics of what a true leader is and should be.

When a great leader falls because of a lack of integrity, it is
very painful for all involved. Tearing another person down to
build yourself up, only leads to a false impression of yourself.

When someone is tearing others down in front of You this is
a guarantee they will do the same to You behind Your back.
Ultimately you will crash and burn from your lack of character.

Life can give us challenges in many areas of our life. How we
handle those challenges ourselves and who helps us, can
determine our success or failure. Loyalty to do the right thing
enters into all decisions. Friendships built on loyalty and trust
are like support beams for a foundation.

A foundation is the beginning. This applies to your marriage,
your friendships, your home and your business. If you build
them correctly, they will sustain you your lifetime. If you
build carelessly everything will crumble around you.

Leaders are built. Day by day, Lesson by lesson. When a
leader chooses to fall, they sacrifice their integrity, their
honor and their character.

If after knowing the facts and fully utilizing their "critical
thinking skills" when someone decides to leave Your Team

Foundational Leadership Quality: Honorable

Integrity can be considered as the condition of "not doing
what's wrong." Character can be defined as doing the right
things, for the mere reason that it is the right thing, even if
that thing is difficult and unpopular.

The two sewn together make honor. Author Jeff O'Leary,
in The Centurion Principles, writes, " 'Honor' encompasses
the virtues of integrity and honesty, self-denial, loyalty, and
a servant's humility to those in authority above as well as a
just and merciful heart to those below."

Honor is such a rarely used word in our times that it seems
a little old-fashioned. But living a life of integrity and character
is timeless and, for a leader, absolutely necessary. It's about
choices, and a person's choices in life follow him to the grave.

Is this to say that a person needs to be perfect to become a
leader? Of course not. Perfection in this life is not possible,
and we, the authors, are certainly not exceptions. However,
a leader must strive continually toward perfection even though
she knows she can never exactly attain it.

It is a question of the heart. The most effective leaders through
out history have led with their hearts, in trust, and with honor.
If a leader cuts corners, misuses people, or misrepresents, the
truth, a time bomb begins ticking. Someday, somewhere, the
bomb will go off. It is obvious in our times only too often: public
figures at the pinnacles of power and fame crash and burn in
the cloud of self-inflicted shame. From political scandals to
high-profile corporate frauds, these calamities are brought
on by a lack of honor in the leadership.

"Human happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected."

The difference between leaders we revile and those we praise
is their individual level of honor. In fact, honor is the force that
holds a leader's hunger in check.

Without honor, hunger runs rampant and ultimately serves
only selfish interests. Honor is the component that makes
hunger productive for the leader's fellow man. In fact, what
we are basically describing here is another "old-fashioned"
word: duty.

George Washington said of duty, "Human happiness and
moral duty are inseparably connected." So leadership is
spawned by hunger and held in check by honor.

Under that combination, leaders will find happiness in the
fulfillment of their duty to others. It has been said that the
character of a man is the only thing that will walk back
from the grave into the hearts of the people who knew him.

That is the legacy of a leader. The words a leader say and
the walk a leader walks must match. As the saying goes,
"Your word is your worth and your worth is your word."

Andy Stanley, author of The Next Generation Leader, says,
"To become a leader worth following you must give time and
attention to the inner man.

To leave a legacy that goes beyond accomplishment alone,
a leader must devote himself to matters of the heart."
Character is developed in the valleys and the peaks of life,
enabling a person to overcome obstacles and deal with
success.

Abraham Lincoln observed, "Nearly all men can handle
adversity, but if you really want to test a man's character -
give him power." Character connects a person to what is
right and true.

If reputation is what others think of you, then character is
what God knows about you. This concept of honor is so
important to a leader because people will follow a leader
only as far as they feel they can trust him.

People will not follow a leader they can't trust. According
to R. Ruth Barton, "We set young leaders up for a fall if
we encourage them to envision what they can do before
they consider the kind of person they should be.

" Warren Bennis tells us, "In the leadership arena,
character counts. I am not saying this casually, of studies,
observations, and interviews with leaders and with the
people near them.... I've never seen a person derailed
from [leadership] positions for lack of technical competence.

But I've seen lots of people derailed for lack of judgment
and character." And, as Heraclitus said, "Man's character
is his fate." Finally, it should be remembered that a major
component of honor is personal courage.

Without the courage to do what's right because it's right,
regardless of ramifications to self, one is not truly worthy
to be called a leader.

When people don't "Believe" they deserve Success they
will self destruct every time.... This is the reason we tell

Every morning before I even have my coffee, I put on my daughter’s computer. I then get my daughter ready for school and every morning while getting her dressed she asks me, “is the computer on?” and I say half-asleep, “yes it’s on”. Now as we head toward the back room where her computer is, she goes and puts on the TV for me, my station” and heads over to her computer. As I am putting on her sneakers and getting her ready for school, I look over at her and I see her on Facebook, then as each day passes I have been seeing her on Facebook again and again. So, as I pretend to be looking down and putting on her sneakers for school, I look at what she is doing on facebook and she is on Chat Online and there are 4 boxes open with names on them. I look at her friends, and I say you have 58 friends who are they. (I don’t have that many personal friends). She tells me and they are kids from school, her cousins etc…. I say to my daughter, “Melanie” why do you like facebook so much?” “You have more friends than mommy does” “What so much to like about it?” She says I don’t know, “I just like it.”


So, as I go into the kitchen, I am looking at her and her back is toward me so she can’t see that I am checking out what she is doing. She is talking with 3-4 people at the same time on Facebook Chat. She is saying hello and asking how they are and just being herself, making small talk, how are you, what did you have for dinner, what are they doing today or she getting ready to go to school , just small talk. I said Melanie, do you write on your Facebook friends’ walls, she says sometimes, “I like to talk to them” (on chat). "Oooh Ok", I asked her, who showed and told you about chat, and she said you did.” “I did? When did I show you that?”, “awhile ago”. I just pretended to go about my business getting her ready for school.
Whenever she gets on computer, she goes to her e-mail and then facebook. I can’t get her off facebook, that’s all she does. Then I had an epiphany, looking at my daughter from the kitchen, she is sharing every day, maybe just a hello or I love you, because that is her personality. She is just being herself talking to them and she is getting a response back. I thought to myself that she is interacting and developing relationships. It sure sounds like Relationship Marketing. My point is, all the while, I knew the chat button was there but had it shut off on my computer. I turned it on and people started chatting with me. I am surprised to see how many people use it. Because of the volume of friends I have on facebook, I look up their profile and then interact with them, just like my daughter does. She is teaching me Relationship marketing

Remember in the Network/MLM/Internet marketing world, people want to connect with people. People want to build trusting relationships, people want to interact and also some people have a hard time asking questions. Knowing you are available on many platforms by chat or IM, may help the people interact more and help people who struggle to ask their questions, because only you will know they are asking and you can give them an answer or at least point them in the right direction and help them solve their problem/problems.
By using Facebook Chat and other platforms for instant messaging or talking “real time”, I know it will help the consumer or marketer feel better at knowing they can ask you a question, or just connect and talk to you because they want to interact and your there and available.

10 Killer Headlines To Pull Your Prospects In with the Force Of A Magnet

So let me ask you a question, what made you click on the link to read this article? Think about it, with all that we’re exposed to on the internet every second of the day, the barrage of emails, articles on Facebook, and links on Twitter, what makes you decide what you’re going to look at…The Headline.

Some experts say that 90% of the effectiveness of your content depends on the headline. Funny thing is that usually we spend much more time creating and editing the body of an ad, article, etc. – and the headline or title is just created on the spur of the moment. BIG mistake. If the reader does not find the title interesting, intriguing, or at least… annoying or controversial – they will not read the rest.

Ok, so since examples are always clearer, I’m going to share with you 10 killer headlines you can use to grab the attention of your prospects. Now, there are hundreds of them, but this will at least get you started. They are in no particular order.

1. Secrets Of…

The “Secrets Of” headline will impact your prospect and grab their attention because people want to learn secrets and most people are just plain nosy. It’s like someone telling you they know a secret, you just have to pry it out of them. They will have to read on or buy your product or opt-in in order to find out the “secrets”.

2. How To…

The “How To” headline offers the easiest, and in many times, the most effective approach to headline creation. All you have to do is begin with the words “how-to”, and follow that up with a hard-hitting benefit(s), offers, etc… A “How To” headline grabs your prospect’s attention because it tells them they’re about to learn something new that could benefit them. The headline should tell them how to get their benefit faster, cheaper, easier, etc. If you’re ever struggling to find a good headline in a hurry, there’s no more reliable approach than the “how-to”.

3. The Question…

The “Question” headlines are great involvement devices. A question often commands a reaction from the prospect, thereby involving them in your concept, idea or thought process. Questions by their very nature beg to be answered. However, the key to using this type of headline is to focus your question clearly on the prospect.

You need to ask questions of the prospect that make him want to read on to discover the ultimate answer. Questions that are of particular interest to a targeted audience are even more involving. The purpose is to get the reader to quickly assess their situation or to start to think about their current condition. Involve them and they’ll be drawn inside.

4. The Command Headline

The “Command” headline is a directive that is used to get prospects out of their “comfort zones” by giving a clear indication of what they should do now. It’s a direct call to action of some sort. “Do This” “Stop Suffering From…” “Claim Your Free Pass…” are a few examples of phrases that indicate a command.

6. How I…

The “How I” headline will get your prospect’s attention because it’s not only showing them how to get the desired benefit, but you, the “I” are telling them and not some big corporation. It’s more personal than the “How To” headline and will draw your prospect into your content.

7. Truth About…

The “Truth About” headline grabs your prospect’s attention because most people are skeptical and suspect they’re being lied to by businesses. I mean, how many of us have been burnt by another person or business at least once in our lifetime?

8. Reasons Why

The “Reasons Why” headline can work well because it promises to reveal some important information the prospect should know about. This technique usually begins with a specific number and lures prospects in with an approach that arouses their curiosity. People love to know the answers and a “Reasons Why” headline promises such answers. It’s almost a challenge to the reader—to learn these reasons and compare them with his own ideas and beliefs.

The “Numbered” headline technique features a specific number as an actual reference point. The “Tired Of” headline creates a lot of impact with your prospect because people get tired of the old things in their life, the same ‘ole same ‘ole. To achieve their goals or desired benefits, people know that something has to change.

Use these headlines to start your own headline swipe file if you don’t have one already. Also, another great source of headline inspiration is the check-out line of your grocery store. In particular, look for magazines related to achieving goals or improving something – women’s magazines, men’s health, fitness, home décor, etc.

David Allen‘s approach to managing yourself and your world may be amongst the best productivity advice you ever receive, too. It is profoundly practical, realistic, hands-on, and superbly focused with hundreds of tips, tools, and techniques for improving your personal productivity.

Getting Things Done turned out to be one of the most important books I’ve ever read in my life, and I suspect it may be one of the most important you’ll ever read as well.

Old School Marketing formally known as Traditional Marketing is Newspaper, TV, Magazine Ads, Billboards, direct mail, and other advertisements. All these ads tell the consumer what to do. “Hey Call this number or EM us and we will send you information” There is no interaction between the consumer and the company, just directions. Traditional marketing is losing its effectiveness.

What happened was the consumer started to become skeptical with these ads; they didn’t feel that traditional marketing was interactive; thus making the consumer uneasy. Advertisements were just telling you where to go, what to do and what to buy. Personally, I felt and still feel uneasy with these types of ads. Traditional Marketing is basically dead. By 2010 “traditional advertising” will be 1/3 as effective as it used to be. How many times do you change the channel or turn the page because of an ad? People do not like to be interrupted. It is just the way it is in today’s’ world. Marketing today is Interactive. . Then there was a shift in marketing. Marketing began to interact with the consumer by way of the internet.

The Internet came about and businesses started putting up ads, using pay-per-click (ppc) The consumer felt a bit more control over what they could do, if they were interested in the ad The internet changed the face of marketing. Today anyone can become a network marketer using totally free marketing platforms. New School Marketing, in which it now being called Social Media Marketing or Relationship Marketing exploded and is still exploding, because consumers are able to interact. Examples of New School Marketing, Blogs, Facebook, Linkedin,You Tube, Photosharing, and Twitter, and there are thousands of other platforms on the internet. People can communicate and build a relationship before making a decision. These platforms are totally free to use and you should learn them. I will give you some personal advice; you should learn a platform per month. Study, learn, implement, and dominate a platform. After you know it, use that platform to establish relationships and interact with your target market. When you begin to establish relationships and interact, find out what their problems and/or struggles are in a subtle way, be interested, listen, respond, and give them a solution.

There are Six Reasons to tap into Social Media Platforms and/or Relationship Marketing/Free Marketing Platforms.

· Traditional Advertising is losing its effectiveness. Consumers are tired of the noise, they are tired of being told what to do and become skeptical. Traditional marketing just does not work and is not as effective as is New School Marketing.

· Consumers want to establish a trusting relationship. Always remember Relationships first, Business second.

Marketing is not selling. You should not aggressively try to sell your product or service. Unfortunately, many marketers don’t understand this concept. You need to understand that marketing is not about selling, but educating your potential prospects. Help them to understand more about you and the Industry. Marketers try aggressively to sell their products, themselves and/or services, thus turning off potential prospects. Your potential prospects are going to need to make an educated decision on why they need your service or product, so educate them.
Selling is forceful, aggressive, applies pressure, mistrust and will turn your prospects away. When you educate, you give value, you are helpful, useful and contribute to their education and this will create a bond and/or trust with your prospect. Think about the last time someone tried to sell you something!! Did you feel like running away?? When you are constantly giving value and advice, you will earn trust. Remember you are the educator, the teacher, the student, in this Industry, now and always.
In order to educate, you need to become an expert and a student to the industry. Knowledge will be ongoing.

There Are 3 Ways To Educate Yourself:

· Read – Books, Blogs, Articles, Newsletters, or News articles. Anything that will increase your value.
· Listen—Audio CDs, Radio Shows like Blogtalkradio.com, podcasts, teleseminars and live calls.
· Observe—Live Seminars are best, but there are also Webinars, informational DVD’s, video podcasts and vlogs.

The 4 Top Mistakes Marketers Make Are:


· AN UNCLEAR AND/OR COMPLICATED MARKETING MESSAGE. Marketers are unclear how to help their potential prospects. The prospect is unclear to what the marketer is trying to offer or sell.
· FAILURE TO UNDERSTAND YOUR TARGET MARKET. You need to be crystal clear who your target market is and what their problems are. If you don’t know who your marketing target or who you are selling your services too, it is going to be really difficult to create relationships to people who will want to pursue you and/or purchasing your services.
· “SHOUTING OUT” your marketing message. “Buy my product!” or “Make 10,000 in 3 months!” It turns people off. By being subtle with your marketing message, you will gain intrigue, interest, and trust with your potential prospect
· WHAT YOUR TARGET MARKET WANTS TO HEAR. Your target wants to hear, and learn solutions to their problems.

There are 10 Ways to Educate Your Prospects:

· Send out a Newsletter bi-weekly or monthly. Offer a Free-EBook
· Writing Ezine articles or Ideamarketers articles (This will position you as an educator/expert.)
· Maintain your blog. (This also educates your audience and should be updated a least once a week, but twice is better, personally.
· Submitting press releases (This is especially good because a lot of people look at them, like journalists and editors and you can post them on your website. Press releases to your prospects are great because most don’t know that you write them yourself.
· Podcasts. Your prospect can download your marketing message to mp3 and they can go about their business while becoming educated and informed.
· Hosting a Radio Show, like Blogtalkradio.com.
· Hosting a Teleseminar and/or Webinar. If they want more information on the particular topic, they will seek you out. Educate on relevant topics such as the “how to” use facebook, article writing, video marketing, twitter, linkedin etc...
· Interview other Industry Experts. This will position you as an equal to the expert you are interviewing.
· Use Youtube or Video Marketing and educate your prospect (Seeing and hearing is great educationally)
· Host a live event or seminar.

Remember you are the educator, teacher, mentor, and expert. Don’t complicate your marketing message, be crystal clear. Determine your target market, find out what their problems are and give them solutions. You should be aware of your strengths and weakness, if you are great at writing, then educate with articles, try to get out of your comfort zone when you are ready and do something different. Video marketing seems to be the way to go these days. Most people learn better by seeing and hearing at same time. The more education you give your prospects, the more visible you are going to be and be pursued. You will clearly be known as an expert in the marketing industry.

Let me give you the definition of both from Wikipedia: “A Website is a collection of related web pages, images, videos or other digital assets that are addressed relative to a common Uniform Resource Locator (URL), often consisting of only the domain name, or the IP address, and the root path ('/') in an Internet protocol- based network. A web site is hosted on at least one web server, accessible via a network such as the Internet or a private Local Area Network”

Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.”
In summary, consumers learn more from blogs than from a website. Blogs create a way to interact with you and the reader. Blogs give you and your reader a connection, a relationship, and eventually trust. Blog gives fresh content, value, and information. If a blog is done RIGHT, it will bring you more visibility.
Most internet marketers struggle with traffic. Marketing your blog in the right channels, RSS Feed, Feedburner.com, RSS Feed and Blog Directories to name a few will bring traffic to you and you become admired and attracted. Blogs can bring SEO benefits also, because Google likes fresh content, Blogs create a way for you to interact with your reader. Remember, a network marketer is someone who gives value and directs others in the RIGHT direction. Don’t lose sight of what we should be doing. We should be helping other network marketers. My point is network marketers need to establish a relationship and blogging is the perfect way.


The Three Most Popular Types Of Blogs Are:

· Blogger, which is owned and controlled by Google, The upside of Blogger is that you can open up an account and start blogging within minutes. There is no cost. I think in any skill that you are trying to achieve, you need to learn it. I believe by using blogger is a good start for writing and getting ideas from other bloggers. Remember, you can put other people’s content in your blog as long as you state it is theirs. It is great tool to use to start writing posts rather than not writing at all. Not everyone likes to write. The downside is Google owns it, controls it, you can’t have a domain name and Google can shut you down, anytime, if they think you are too “salesy” or do not like your content.

· Typepad is a hosted platform (you have to pay a monthly fee) It is the most popular; but, they are constrained to their templates and their rules. The upside is they offer more plug- ins and templates than Blogger.com. The downside is a monthly fee, of about $10.00 for pro version; Basic Typepad is free but only allows a certain amount of posts, 3 to be exact. But if you go Pro-version, posting is unlimited. There are three types of typepad, basic, plain, and pro. . · Wordpress.org. This is a self-hosted platform. Most professional networkers use this type of blog platform. There are no drawbacks from wordpress. org. It is yours. No one can take it away from you. The only drawbacks are the technical skills necessary for a wordpress blog. It does take time, but if you focus, you can set it up. You can save yourself money and time by hiring someone for $20.00 to download and install a template/theme for you. (But the key to marketing is “the HOW TO” ) You need to learn how to do a wordpress blog. It’s crucial. I can guarantee you that when you have it set up and you learn a different skill and another, you will eventually want to change your wordpress theme or add another one. So, I personally suggest that you spend the time, and learn how to make a wordpress blog platform. After it is set up, it is as easy as blogger to post and edit etc….One great thing about Wordpress is that the endless amount of plug-ins you can put in. So become blog savvy!! There is also another blog platform called Wordpress.com and it is free. My point is network marketers need to establish a relationship. FOCUS, FOCUS and LEARN HOW TO MAKE A WORDPRESS BLOG PLATFORM.

If you use a good host, they should have an auto install version of Wordpress. (Go Daddy) Click, click, bang. It’s set up. Play with a theme. Spend too much time looking on line for a theme. Download, install. Play with plug ins. Download, install. Write a few posts. Create a few pages. Change the layout a bit. Call it 8 hours total, from start to having your own blog on line, working, with your own theme and content. You have added the plug-ins that you wanted, the theme that you wanted, the layout, the content, and the menu. All of it is exactly what you want.
The cost is your time because you have SO MANY options. If you can be satisfied with what comes out of the box, then a Wordpress site can be set up in 20 minutes.

Compare that to a different free or self hosted platform. Set up is quick and easy. Pick a theme because there are only 20. Write a post. Change the layout? No. Can’t do that. Put the menu on the other side? No. Can’t do that. You want to post video? No. Can’t do that either. Podcast? Special functionality? Nope. None of that. If you don’t use Wordpress.org, your blog will not look quite like you want it to and it will not have the right functionality. It will be harder to use and take longer to post and promote.

Lastly, promote your Blog on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and Betternetworker. And create a signature with your blog link. If you need help, just get in touch with me and I will point you in the right direction and help you.

1. “Too Much Sell”: There is too much of a salesperson pitch. “Buy my Products”. No one is interested in a sales pitch, they are interested in value.

2. “Too Much ME”: (TMM) There is too much information about blogger—their blog is used as a daily diary. Although your stories are important, there has to be a reason. Give Value.

3. “Don’t Post Enough”: You don’t have to post a blog every day. The rule of thumb is at least twice a week or you could even get by with once a week. People who visit your blog and see that you have not posted at least weekly, are not impressed.

4. “Networkers Give Up Too Quickly”: Blogs are not an overnight success but “don’t give up” May take 3-6 months before you see results. You need to be consistent, commit and give diverse value and fresh content.

What do successful people think about most of the time? Successful people have been studied for a long time and it was determined that they think about what they want and how to get it most of the time. While unsuccessful people, unfortunately, think about what they don’t want and who to blame for their circumstances. The end result will cause them to attract more of what they don’t want and what makes them unhappy. The law states that what ever you talk and think about most of the time will come into your life.

Your self-concept is commonly referred to as your ‘master program’ of your subconscious mind. Think of it as your ‘mental’ operating system. Throughout your life all your thoughts, feelings, decisions and experiences are permanently recorded in you subconscious mind. From this point forward, once recorded, these impressions will influence the way you think, feel and conduct yourself.

Now, you have a self-concept for every area of your life. For example you have a self-concept for your athletic ability, your financial stability, your relationships, etc. And once your self-concept is formed for that area of your life, you will always act in a manner consistent with it. In most cases we all perform below our true potential because our self-concept may be poor for that particular area.

So how does one reach their full potential in any area of their life? You must raise your self-concept for that area of your life. This can be accomplished by understanding, both emotionally and intellectually, that we become what we think about most of the time. It is up to each individual to acquire new habits of thinking about what is truly possible for them. In other words, if you want to change your results on the outside you must first change your thoughts and feelings about your potential on the inside.

Now there are 3 parts to your self-concept. The first part of your self-concept is your self-ideal. Your self-ideal can be defined as the ideal image you have of yourself. In other words, the very best person you can be. It’s a picture perfect life which is made up of your wishes, goals, dreams, fantasies along with the qualities and characteristics of the people you admire. Further more, with the Law of Attraction, you will move in the direction of becoming the person you most admire. The greater the clarity you have about your future life and the person you admire to be, the faster you will move towards becoming that person. And the great thing about this is more opportunities will appear for you to make your ideal future a reality.

The most important part of creating your self-ideal is you must take the time to think through and develop with absolute clarity about the key values and qualities that you admire the most to incorporate into yourself. When this is complete, you then begin to shape and direct your whole personality.

The second part of your self-concept is referred to as your self-image. Your self-image is defined as how you see yourself on the inside. And the way you see yourself on the inside has a great impact on how you will perform on the outside. For example, if you’re ready to give a presentation and if you see yourself as confident and successful, then this is how you will perform in the actual situation. However, if you have a poor self-image of yourself, this will cause you to feel unattractive, not confident in future situations.

An important habit when developing your self-image is to feed your mind with positive pictures and images of yourself performing at your very best. Hold these pictures and images in your mind for as long as you can. And when you come across a situation where you need to perform, your subconscious mind will remember these images and will direct you with the words, actions and gestures that correspond to the images that you’ve created for yourself.

The third part of your self image is your self-esteem. This is how you feel about yourself. Your level of self-esteem impacts the vitality and energy of your personality and ultimately controls your performance. Whatever happens to you will have an effect on your self-esteem. It either increases or decreases it. The key to high performance, happiness and success is determined through the preservation and development of your self-esteem. When ever you feel that your current performance is inline with the best person you can be your self-esteem will go up. You’ll have more energy with increase enthusiasm. However, whenever your current performance seems to be inconsistent with the person you would most like to be your self-esteem will go down.

Remember your mind is like a garden. If you don’t take care of it, weeds will grow automatically, with no encouragement or support. In other words, your mind will fill up with your fears, worries and concerns if you do not deliberately fill your mind with positive words and images. Furthermore, develop the habit of talking to yourself positively most of the time.

How To Analyze Compensation Plans - The Binary And The Matrix

MLM compensation plans can be baffling. Let's simplify things with the main thing we ask of any company -

The 10k Question:

"How many active people do I need in my downline to generate a walk away residual income of $10,000 per month?"

The key word for this discussion is "residual". How much money will I be making after all the recruiting and fast start bonuses and early bird specials settle down and people are buying product week after week and month after month?

That's the key to a stable long term MLM business - long term sale of product. You want to find hundreds or thousands of loyal customers and get paid well. You do NOT want to have to continually recruit new reps or customers to keep your check.

Think residual. If your check stops when recruiting stops, you are in the wrong business. You will never be able to retire.

Let's analyze the Bongo Juice Company that promises "Eight ways you can get paid!"

The company has a great product called Bongo Juice extracted from the Bongo Berry by Bongonian Buddhists on the side of the Billybongo Mountains on the remote Pacific island of Bongobongo with a centuries old extraction method, but hold on. The berry doesn't pay us. The Bongo comp plan pays us ...

Let's simplify things by figuring out what parts of the pay plan we can ignore and which parts we should consider ...

1. Direct Sales (n/a): You sell the stuff. Most people don't join an MLM to become retailers and you can't do it all yourself. When you are making $10000 per month, your own contribution to your check will be small, perhaps a few hundred dollars.

You can buy a bottle of Bongo Juice for $30 and sell it for $40, making a profit of $10, or 25% of the retail price, a fair commission. If you wanted to earn $10000 per month selling like this, you would need to sell 10000/10 = 1000 bottles or 250 cases of 4 each month. Whew!

And you need to read the fine print. If you find a loyal customer, say your Aunt Jean, who buys from your website, the company gives them a 15% discount. That makes Aunt Jean’s price $34, and your profit $4 rather than $10. Seems like a strange way for the company to reward you for finding a loyal customer. If you want to earn $10000 per month with loyal customers on autoship, you'd need to sell 10000/4 = 2500 bottles or 625 cases per month. Double whew! That’s a lot of Aunt Jeans!

And that's why we leave direct sales out of the 10k calculation.

2. Bulk Order Bonus (n/a): A one time bonus paid when someone you personally sponsor orders 3, 6, or 12 cases. That's an order of $360, $720, or $1440 for which you get paid $25 to $75 if you are on 200 pts autoship, or $10 to $30 if you are on 100 points autoship. This is 7% down to 3%, and note that the more your team spends, the lower your commission!

We have never seen anyone buy 3 cases, and neither have the Bongo reps we have spoken with, and that's why we leave this out of the 10k calculation.

3. First Order Bonus (n/a): The name says it all. It's not residual, so it's not included in the 10k calculation.

4. Big Bongonian Builder Bonus (n/a): A one time bonus when one of your team promotes. Not residual. Not included.

5. We'll come back to Team Commissions after we dispense with three more bonuses.

6. Executive Check Match (n/a): Comp Plan experts have told us that the check match usually increases your check by only about 1% or 2%. The most we've ever seen is an increase of 10%. It's a bonus that favors the sponsor monsters, not the average networker. To be more than fair, we reduce the 10k answer by 10%.

7. Global Leadership Pool (n/a): This bonus promises a chunk of a 1% contribution by the company of all revenues worldwide. About 1/10 of 1% of distributors see any of this money. Most of us will never dip a toe in the shallow end of this pool.

8. Multiple Business Centers (n/a): Once you reach a certain level, Bongo offers you the opportunity of building new centers above your present position. We maintain that one position should be good enough to generate an income. Why maintain and qualify several? Even if you do open other centers, you still have to add people, and it does not affect the 10k answer.

Now let’s return to …

5. Team Commissions:

Bongo has a binary plan in which you must sponsor and place a person on the left and a person on the right to qualify for any commissions. Let’s call them Alice and Betty.

If you sponsor Alice and she starts to build, you earn no commissions on her team until you sponsor Betty. That could be quite a while, and you can miss out on commissions you deserve until you jump through that hoop.

Once you have sponsored Betty, the reality of the binary sets in. Most people sponsor just two or three people in their lifetime, and you have been forced to split up your two best people into separate legs. As you only ever get paid on one leg, you will be paid on Alice OR Betty, never Alice AND Betty, even though you have brought both of them to Bongo.

It gets worse. You only ever get paid on your WEAKER leg! That means that if Alice is a stronger builder, you will get paid for Betty’s results and vice versa. No matter what they do, you will always get paid on the weaker of the two people you have sponsored. Your will always be rewarded for less, and sometimes for much less than half of your efforts and results. You can watch your commissions from your best builder disappear into the distance as you struggle to keep up with your weaker builder.

(Some companies require TWO personally sponsored and active people on each side. That means you get paid on Alice and Carl OR Betty and Dave, never on all of your team, resulting in huge breakage and much less paid out by the company to you, the reps.)

Once your weak leg reaches a volume of 500 points (about $800), matched by 500 points in your strong leg, Bongo will pay you 10% of that 500 points, or $50. 500 points will be removed from both legs, and a new ‘cycle’ begins. 10% is small enough, but look more closely. You have sponsored both Alice and Betty, so you are actually being paid $50 on 1000 points, or 5% commissions, 3% commissions on the dollar value.

If our basic unit for a rep or customer is 100 points, that’s $5 per person, making the 10k answer 10000/5 = 2000 people. Let’s take off 10% for check matching to make it 1800 people. Is that a small number or a big number?

(Our answers for the 10k question range from as low as 400 to as high as 27000!)

Let’s assume for a moment that Bongo has a matrix or unilevel instead of a binary, and the levels pay commissions as follows:

1 – 11%
2 – 10%
3 – 8%
4 – 6%
5 – 4%
6 – 2%
7 – 1%

That’s an average of 42/7 = 6% commission over all seven levels. 6% of 100 points is $6 per person, making the 10k answer 10000/6 = 1666 or about 1700 people.

You might also think about this. If the lowest answer to the 10k question is 400, you are working four to five times harder than you have to in the Bongo Juice Company. You may not mind working that hard, but you will be inviting others to join you and work four times too hard. That’s how we spell attrition, and you will have to go through many more people than you have to in order for your team to find the 1700 or 1800 people required.

And if you want to have some fun, call your upline or rep support and ask the 10k question. You’ll be amazed at the answers you get!

The Light At the End of Your Tunnel Has Been Turned Off Due To Budget Restrictions

Are you struggling with your finances, your job? your life? and/or your time?? And what do you think about all the internet opportunities with empty promises? Are you worried, frustrated or overwhelmed? Well, I would just like to say there is a Light, a very Bright Light at the end of the tunnel.

Can you see a white light at the end of your Networking Journey? I would like to give you some words of Hope so that you will continue on your journey. I have been network marketing for over a year and a half now and what I have learned is that there are people out there that are willing to help you at no cost. Extraordinary people who have said “I have had enough," I want more out of life; and I want my dreams and desires to come true". You see, like me, they kept looking for a light and found it by moving forward. Their desires and dreams lead them.

You need to believe in yourself and know who you are. If you're not sure, you can change. Every day is a new day which is given to you; don't neglect the endless opportunities out there. Look at yourself in the mirror and see if you like what you see. Remember the hand you were dealt, is the hand you have to play and you need to take responsibility for who you are. Quit complaining and blaming others; it’s not going to do anything for you but drag you down. If you want to become an expert, leader, and live in abundance, you have to fight the good fight. Yes, network marketing is hard but it’s fun at the same time. I have a melt down a least once a week from something, I did or didn't do, but I use it as a learning curve. I have many colleagues who give such great value, in which some nights I am unable to sleep.

I want you to know you are not alone. You just need to keep focused, committed, be persistent and start slow. It is imperative that you keep your mindset in control. You can do it!

One of the main keys to success is having hope, and most importantly having faith. Believe in yourself, dream as you never dreamed. Visualize what you really want in this life. When you believe, I mean really start to believe, the universe will move out of your way, work with you and your dreams will become a reality. You know you were put here for a reason. Don't let life just pass you by. Stay close to the fire, ask questions, and talk with your mentor, sponsor or colleagues on a regular basis. You will find there are so many people who want to help you and I AM ONE OF THEM. You will get it, just keep doing something everyday towards your business.

Remember, your WHY, and it has to be HUGE. Put it on paper and hang it over your computer wall. If your WHY is not HUGE, you will quit. I can guarantee you that. You can wallow in self pity or you can become the best network marketer on line. It is all up to you. You have to change what is on the inside before you will see any results on the outside.

You see, the industry needs to stop twisting the truth about how MLM/Network marketing works and the average person has to stop looking at MLM/Network marketing as a quick fix for his or her financial situation. MLM/Network marketing creates long term, leveraged residual income through monthly recurring purchases from your downline organization. Understand that network marketing is a business which accrues value and net worth over time. And when someone tells you that you can make 5-6 figures in less than 6 months, I wish and hope you do; but, it is just not realistic to me. Some can and do and when this happens, it is because they have already earned the ABILITY through past experiences, the people they know, and the value and wisdom they accrued. Their success stories are only visible to the ear and eye while underneath what they haven’t told you is that they have already been through years of failure, and frustration. But in truth, there is NO QUICK FIX to your financial situation and if anyone else tells you differently, and you believe them, well good luck.

Please always remember, there is a “Bright Light” at the end of your journey, you just need to learn HOW to walk.

What Do you Do When Your Network Company Gives you the Pink Slip??

It is very sad to see this when it happens. But not uncommon in this Industry. “Don’t give up”. It’s not your fault. When you fall down, you get back up and this is what you have to do. Learn from your failures. We, as network marketers, really understand this concept, we learn from our mistakes and failures. You have to move on and use it as a learning curve. Take your inner strength, courage, skill and faith and continue to move forward. Learn what the right company for you is.

Now I say to myself, what do the network marketers who have got their pink slip do who have a downline or list? What do they do next? Well the answer is
Find a 5 pillar company. If you are a network marketer, does your company stand up to the 5 Pillars of Success.

· Pillar 1: COMPANY. Does the company management have rock-solid experience backed with unquestionable integrity?
· Pillar 2: TIMING. Timing in the company. Timing in the profession of the network marketing. Timing within national and global trends.
· Pillar 3. PRODUCTS: Remarkable products people will buy even without a compensation plan attached to them.
· Pillar 4. COMPENSATION PLAN: A compensation plan that rewards the top builders as well as fairly rewarding the part-time person.
· Pillar 5. PROVEN SYSTEM. A “proven duplicable system that allows part-time people to create a significant ROYALTY Income and full-time people to create an extraordinary Royalty Income.

If you are not familiar with what Royalty Income is, you should. Some people know it as passive, recurring or residual income. Multi-millionaires know the secret to creating true wealth is in creating Royalty Income. That’s when you do the work right ONE time and get paid over and over and over again for the work you did. If you are a networker marketing pro or newbie, nothing can stop you from becoming a professional, expert, and leader. You can’t lose no matter what. It’s the internet. “What happens if my company falls apart and goes out of business? You still can’t lose because you will have the skills. You have the ability to create anything you want. You just need to know How to Market and Learn your Skills.

Here are some things to considering when looking at new network marketing business – I got this information from Juanita Waterman who is in my primary company.
· Does the company management have personal experience building their own networking organization?
· Have they done it with Integrity?
· Search Google for the owners of the company.
· Do the owners have Integrity? (Add the word ‘Scam’ to your search).
· Do the owners have a corporate background or an in-the-field Network Marketing background?
· Read your “Policies & Procedures” and “Terms & Conditions”; both are part of your Legal Contract.
· Look for the word “Ongoing”.
· Look for policies that strike you as “Unreasonable”. Like “Termination, with or without cause”.
· Ask yourself “Does this contract protect me or the company?” “Is it clear which way it leans?”
· Does the company charge you for training or a company web site?
· Does the company charge you for each paycheck they send you?

Rules of Thumb:
· The longer the contract, the greater the possibility that the policies important to you are being hidden in “Legalese”!
· If it’s a “Cash Only” business…It’s a Scam!
· If you can buy a position at the top…It’s a Scam!
· If you are offered a “Special Deal”…the playing field isn’t level for all.
· If the products are sold on eBay at a greatly reduced price…Buy there instead.
· If a company is publicly traded, Financial Decisions Will be made in Favor of the Stockholders at the Expense of the Distributors.

It is the “The Person You Become”. As we all are aware, this industry has all the same tools, systems and marketing materials. The only unknown factor in this equation is you and your uniqueness. It’s that special something about you that sets you apart from the rest. When you figure out who you are and what you want to contribute to this industry, will determine your uniqueness. It could be your WHY just as an example. In this business, you need to be unique. What makes a person attractive to others? How does it that some people join a business opportunity and within months, they become successful. Whereas, people who wake up every day with hopes of a brighter future and find no matter how hard they try or whatever they do, they just can’t get ahead and they continue to struggle. They work harder and longer but nothing changes. Just to let you know, there is no such thing as good luck. You make your own luck.

Contrary to popular belief, inside you lies a powerful tool that can turn every dream into reality. This inner consciousness is a DIRECT connection to your personal and spiritual success. It is called your spiritual core/self. When doing self talk and autosuggestion i.e.. “I” am an empowered woman; “I” am living in abundance. It is the “I” that is your spiritual core/self which allows you to create your life as YOU see it. You have to understand faith. Faith is practicing Action, based on Belief, sustained by Confidence (the ABC’s of Faith). Read it again, until it sinks in.

The most effective way to tap into your inner consciousness is through meditation. I was given a challenge before I started meditating and the challenge was to think of something you know without thinking and say it to yourself, for example the “National Anthem” or “The Lord Prayer” without distraction. I felt that it was a pretty easy challenge, but what did happen, I started getting distracted, started thinking of other things and I stopped saying it. I realized a simple assignment like this, and I was unable to stay focused. Now, this made me think and what it made sense was that I still had many distractions in my life. Now knowing, I still had distractions, worries, stressors, and even everyday tasks which could and did cloud my mind, I needed to learn how to change my thinking and manage my distractions and/or stressors. For me, I do my autosuggestion, self-talk, and use personal growth tools vigilantly and without realizing it, I was still getting distracted, worried and stressed. In order to clear my mind, I needed something more. So I did some research and it came to me, I needed meditation.

I know that we all have stressors, worries, and everyday situations (like filling your gas tank when it is low, being in traffic, or forgetting to put your daughter’s permission slip in her backpack to go on a field trip) that can manifest to the point of becoming harmful to the mind and body. Stress is nothing more than our reaction to change. Any change in our lives, will cause some level of stress, whether it be good or bad; Life is all about change and change is what causes stress. People respond differently to stress. The way to avoid stress is by changing the way you respond to stress when it occurs. Meditation is the opposite of stress. When you change your attitude, you will change your altitude; changing your altitude means learning to manage your stress. Think about it!

As long as you maintain a clear mind and a positive attitude, you can attract and create anything you want.”Like Attracts like”. And, while you may not know what changes are coming, be comfortable with the idea of change itself. Remove the stress of worry and dread and replaced it with calmness. Meditation is the key to calmness; get in control of your mind and body. You can do anything when you learn the craft of meditation. We live in a fast-paced and multi-tasking world. There isn’t time to stop and smell the flowers anymore! Give your mind and body a gift, meditation. The greatest benefit that network marketing provides is not the money or people you meet or even financial freedom, the greatest benefit this industry can make of you is the person you become.

You have an ability to literally create your own reality; and this fantastic ability doesn’t require any college degrees or super-human strength. In fact, the only thing you need to turn your desires into reality is a clear mind with a lot of intent.

Be unique, genuine, and most importantly be you and “become more”.
